Hello, my name is Jane Capell, and I am currently doing an MA in Integrative Counselling at Leeds Beckett University. I am also a person centred counsellor and a member of BACP. I am currently working on my MA dissertation and am conducting research into Person Centred Counsellors/Psychotherapists experiences of creating a therapeutic relationship online.

The data for this research will be collected via a semi-structured interview in April/May 2024. The interviews will take 60 minutes to complete. The interviews will be on-line either by zoom or teams and delivered in an empathic and respectful manner.  Participation in the research is voluntary and participants can choose to withdraw from the study at any stage before and during the interview and up to 14 days after the interview has taken place.

Leeds Beckett university research policies will be utilised to protect the privacy and well-being of all participants. Participants’ identifying information will be kept confidential and pseudonyms will be used in the processing and final write up of all research data, which will be presented in the form of themes, descriptions and interpretations of experiences.
